Everything you need if you want to write, talk or make a video about MoatLens — without having to ask first.

Boilerplate you can copy

MoatLens is an Android app for stock analysis and fundamental analysis. It shows ten years of business figures over time, explains every metric in plain language and summarises annual reports clearly. Deliberately without buy or sell signals and without price alerts. Built by a solo developer in Germany, available in the EU and the UK.

The thinking behind it

The most important part of an analysis app is sometimes what it leaves out. MoatLens gives no buy or sell recommendations — the AI in the app never even sees the share price, so its judgement of the business is not coloured by the quote. Quality and price stay two separate questions. That is partly a legal matter, but mostly a substantive one: mixing them means never learning to answer either one cleanly.

For creators

You make content about stocks, fundamental analysis or long-term investing and want to try MoatLens? Drop me a line — you get one month of full access, no strings and no arrangement. That is enough to work through everything properly; if you stick with it, I am happy to extend. No script, no talking points, no expectation of a mention. What helps me most is honest feedback sent straight to me: what was unclear, what was missing, where did you stop? Whether and what you publish is entirely your call.

Two factual requests if you do talk about it: label it however you normally would. And please do not describe MoatLens as a buy, sell or hold recommendation — the app gives none, and presenting it that way moves it into a regulatory frame intended for neither of us. What you say about it, and how you judge it, remains entirely your call.
